We are delighted to have the opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and flexible Outdoor Education Lead Tutor to join our friendly and dynamic team atThe Yellow House School.
You will be required to deliver the highest quality of education, care and preparation for life for all students, both in our Schools in Clare and Sible Hedingham and at our Therapeutic allotment and forest sites in Clare. Furthermore, you must be able to contribute to the whole school's planning of activities - with an emphasis on delivering the curriculum through the environment/cooking and gardening skills. The outdoors is a crucial part of the teaching and learning, so enthusiasm for working on an allotment would also be most beneficial.
Having a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds is a must and previous experience of working with students on the Autistic Spectrum, or young people with Special Educational Needs, or Specific Learning Difficulties would be advantageous; having fun through learning is vital for our students and an outside the box mentality is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
Start Date: This position is to start as soon as possible.
Salary: £18000.00 to £21,000.00 /year
tutoring/teaching: 2 years minumum (Desirable)
Outdoor Education : 3 years (Desirable)
Licence: Full, UK, Manual Driving Licence (Required)
