Assistant Team Leader for Physical Education

Required for 1 April 2020 to join our incredibly enthusiastic, driven and successful PE department.

The successful candidate will be in charge of the Football Academy and lead BTEC Sport as well as assisting the Team Leader for PE in leading and managing the department. The ability to teach across the age and ability range in KS3, KS4 and KS5 will be essential, along with exceptional organisational skills. A strong background in football and a passion for extra-curricular sports coaching is essential, as well as a commitment to upholding the ethos of the school.

Shenfield has enjoyed considerable success on a national level in boys' and girls' football, cricket and basketball and is competitive in many other sporting activities.

The school has a fantastic reputation for Sport and Arts, and admits up to 10% of students by aptitude to these areas. The School has excellent sports facilities including a swimming pool, 3G Astro pitch and large sports hall and 2 playing fields.

We have an excellent NQT induction programme and a commitment to professional development for all staff.

Shenfield High School retained its "GOOD" Ofsted rating in November 2018.
