The Boswells School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of English. We are looking for the successful candidate to deliver high quality English lessons to develop an already strong provision within our English Faculty. For the successful candidate, there may also be an opportunity to teach A Level English Language, GCSE Film Studies or A Level Media Studies, although none of these are essential.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an NQT or an experienced teacher in a Faculty full of experience and expertise. You will be joining a school with enthusiastic and dedicated leaders at senior and middle leadership levels and a commitment to the professional development and well-being of staff. The Boswells School is an 11-18, very successful, popular and oversubscribed school in the Springfield area of Chelmsford, Essex. We have a track record of outstanding academic success, with 83% of students achieving a grade 4+ in English Language and/or Literature last year. The Boswells School is a large 11-18 secondary school that serves the area of north Chelmsford. The school is an extremely popular, over-subscribed convertor academy that enjoys an excellent reputation in the local and wider community. We were graded ‘Good’ in every area by OFSTED in February 2017 and are working towards our goal of becoming a truly great school.
