Classteacher - Reception/Key Stage 1
We are seeking to appoint a creative and inspiring teacher to join our Reception/Key Stage 1 team. Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are very welcome to apply. This is a fixed term contract until August 2020 in the first instance.
Myland Primary School is a designated DfE English Hub and this post is to create additional capacity across our five Reception and Key Stage 1 classes to support the work of the Hub.
You will be a highly effective classroom teacher and have high expectations of children's behaviour, attainment and progress. You will also be able to motivate, inspire and challenge pupils in order to help them achieve their very best. In addition, a secure understanding of best practice in early reading and phonics is essential, as is the willingness to be flexible and adaptable.
