Colchester Academy is a thriving secondary school, looking for an enthusiastic and driven Teacher of Science to join its dynamic, collaborative and passionate team. The successful applicant will teach AQA GCSE Combined and Separate Sciences, and KS3 Science. There are opportunities to contribute to curriculum design, extra-curricular activities, primary liaison, and school trips. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be a role model to our students, help continue to raise standards across the school and to drive the Science faculty further on its already successful journey.
Colchester Academy is a secondary school located in the heart of Colchester, Essex, and recently graded 'GOOD' by OFSTED (2018). This is an incredibly exciting time in our journey, as we have just joined a local Academy Chain, South Suffolk Learning Trust (SSLT).
We are looking to appoint someone intent upon driving up standards, delivering excellent teaching and inspiring the same in others, and helping lead the school towards excellence.

Colchester Academy opened to students on Monday 6th September 2010 and became a Bright Tribe academy on 1st April 2015.
