Administration Assistant - Student Support
32.5 hours per week
8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
Term time only
Band 2 (Point Range 3 - 5)
Actual Annual Salary £13,116 - £13,646 per annum

The King John School in Benfleet is a heavily oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive of over 2000 students, of which approximately 430 are in the sixth form. The school is exceptionally proud of the achievements of our students and the ethos of the school. Our results are consistently strong and over 77% of our students achieved a standard pass in English and mathematics at GCSE (Grade 4 or above) in 2019.
Our A-level results have been exemplary, with over 54% of year 13 students gaining A* - B grades in all of their subjects. We are in the top 15% of the country for A-level outcomes compared to 2817 schools and colleges.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working, creative, organised administration assistant to work within our busy student support department.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working within a school although this is not essential. Be able to multi-task, be adaptable, flexible, able to work under pressure to multiple deadlines using their own initiative whilst remaining calm and organised. Ability to problem solve and ensure that the team is supported at all times. Excellent administration, literacy, numeracy, attention to detail, communication and computer skills are essential.
