We are looking for an experienced and qualified lifeguard to work at our school swimming pool each Sunday from 10am until 1pm when the pool is open for the local community to enjoy the facilities.
The successful applicant will have
· A UK recognised pool lifeguard qualification
· An understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
· Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to appropriately correct behaviour of pool users where necessary.
· Confidence and an approachable nature
We would expect the successful candidate to share our pride in the facilities and so the role would also include some light cleaning duties.
The rate of pay is £9.50 per hour.
