Learning Support Assistant/Forest School Lead
30 hours per week, term time plus 5 non-pupil days
Actual salary £12,622 (FTE Band 3 £19,171, Band 2 £18,065)
8.30am - 3.30pm (1 hour lunch break)
This role will be split into two distinct contracts. 23 hours as a Band 2 LSA in class at Waterman Primary and 7 hours as a Band 3 Forest School Lead across both schools.The schools are 1.6 miles apart, and you will need to travel between the two.
We are seeking a resilient, skilled, positive, organised and effective person to fill this role at Waterman and Stambridge Primary School. The successful person will join the teams at these small friendly schools. Waterman is a small school, with just 90 pupils. Stambridge currently has 89 pupils. Duties will include:

Waterman Primary School is a small, friendly school in the heart of Rochford, serving the local community. At Waterman we are committed to supporting each and every family and child who attends our school. We support children's SEMH needs, strive for academic excellence and ensure our children have the best opportunities while with us.
At Waterman, we provide free weekly swimming lessons to all of our children, in a newly refurbished, in-door heated on-site pool. We also provide Forest Schools lessons, which our children thoroughly enjoy. While Year 6 outcomes have improved year on year for the past 4 years. Waterman is smaller than many other local schools and is made up of four classes - Nursery & Reception, Year 1&2, Year 3&4 and Year 5&6.
