Level 5 Points 7 - 12, £19,554 - £21,589 pro rata for 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days.
We are looking for an experienced early years practitioner to join our dedicated team. The role is part-time during term time (38 weeks a year plus 5 INSET days). The practitioner will with the early years' staff to support the social, emotional, educational and welfare needs of our children in line with early years' goals, codes of practice and school policies and procedures.
· To provide a stimulating, educational and safe environment for children in which they can develop to their full potential
· Supervise pupils in their activities at all times
· Establish positive relationships with pupils and their parents/carers
· To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children in the setting
· To give support to staff in the setting
· To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all children can play, develop and learn
· To observe, present activities and to build and maintain strong partnerships, working with parents to enable children's needs to be met
· To effectively deliver the EYFS, ensuring that the individual needs and interests of the children in the setting are met (in conjunction with other team members)
· To be involved in planning the activities of the nursery, following the EYFS
· To act as key person to small group of children and to keep records of your key children's development and Learning Journeys and share with parents, carers and other key adults in the child's life
