Required for January 2020
LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT
To work 30 hours per week term time only
(paid 43.1 weeks per year).
Essex PS Band 2M (points 3-5 depending on experience) - Actual pay range £12,515 - £13,005
Initial hours of work will be 8:30am - 3:30pm, five days per week.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team of LSAs. Experience, or a particular interest, in working with children with special needs would be beneficial, but not essential.
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent communication skills, with a high level of literacy and numeracy
- Be committed to helping children achieve their full potential
- Promote positive behaviour strategies
- Have the ability to work positively within a friendly team
