Pay Scale: L16-L22 (£59,528 to £68,851)

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership is looking to appoint a Headteacher for Lakelands Primary School in Stanway, Colchester. Lakelands Primary School is a brand new school opening for reception pupils in September 2020. The school will grow each year by one-year group at a time until full in 2026. The new school will have state of the art, £6m facilities and is being built to meet the growing demand for primary school places as a result of the new housing developments in Stanway, Colchester.
We are looking to appoint an ambitious and committed professional to lead this new school. This is a unique opportunity to build a new school from the start and the successful candidate will play a significant role in shaping the vision, culture and ethos of the new school. You will have professional freedom and autonomy as the Headteacher at Lakelands Primary School to create an outstanding provision for the community and will work with the trust to achieve this.

Year on year the school will grow, providing 420 places for local children between four and eleven years old by 2026. At Lakelands Primary School we are creating a new school where children can thrive and flourish and fulfil their potential.
