Administrative Assistant/Mid-day Assistant

Based at PurleighCommunity Primary School

Fixed Term to August 2020.

Hours of work 8:30am - 1:00pm (term time only)

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

Actual Pay Range will be between £7, 346 to £7, 631

The Eveleigh LINK Academy Trust is a forward thinking and ambitious Multi Academy Trust seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic and organised person to join our office and mid-day teams at Purleigh Primary School.

The Administrative Assistant post will include reception duties, general administration duties, first aid, and dealing with parents and visitors. Experience of working in a school and knowledge of SIMS and ParentPay would be desirable, but not essential as training can be given.

The mid-day duties will be carried out between 12:00noon to 1:00pm. Successful candidates will be supervising pupils in the dinner hall and outside areas. They should enjoy working with children, have good communication skills and have an approachable manner.

Information about the School

Purleigh Primary School is situated in the village of Purleigh, south of the Blackwater Estuary in Essex. The towns of Maldon and South Woodham Ferrers are three and four miles away and there are several smaller villages that are situated around the school. It is these villages that form the school's priority admission area.

The classes are divided into seven individual year groups and class numbers range from thirty to thirty four.

Purleigh Primary School is a happy village school where parents enjoy sending their children. It has a positive ethos and is a popular school with many families travelling a long way to attend.
