Intervention Tutors - Maths & English
Salary: £15 per hour (unqualified teacher) £25 per hour (qualified teacher)
The FitzWimarc School is a heavily over-subscribed 11 - 18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation in the local area due to pupil achievements, the school's ethos and its commitment and involvement with the community.
We are looking for suitably qualified/experienced individuals who have the ability to teach one-to -one or small groups of pupils aspects of the curriculum in Maths and English to enable the pupils to gain confidence in the subject, access the wider curriculum and reach their potential.
Rates of pay will be based upon qualifications and previous teaching experience. Hours will vary according to need and available funding.
Programmes of study and materials will largely be directed by the relevant department, although some adjustment may be required to respond to student needs.
