Learning Support Assistant

Key Stage 2

Fixed term contract - until 31/10/2020


Required October 2019

Salary - Essex Band 2 Point 3 - 6

(£13,480 - £14,305 actual per annum)

Additional Fringe Allowance of £454 per annum

32.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm (30 minute unpaid break)

Term time plus inset days

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational Learning Support Assistant to take on a crucial role, initially within Year 6, and across Key Stage 2.

A person with the drive to inspire and motivate pupils so that their socio-economic background is not a barrier to achievement?

You will work in partnership with class teachers, to support learning in Key Stage 2, in line with the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, codes of practice, school policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will preferably have relevant NVQ qualifications or equivalent. They must have a good standard of English and Mathematics and basic computer skills.
