Wishes to appoint a
Midday Assistant
based at; Thameside Primary School
Manor Road, Grays, Essex SS17 0DF
Required ASAP
5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 12:15pm - 1:15pm, Term Time only
We require a Midday Assistant to join our hardworking team to take care of our children at lunchtimes. Duties include supervising children on the playground or in the dining hall, clear tables and clear up spillages, encourage good table manners and eating habits, administer basic first aid and keep records associated with this activity lead games and engage children in play activities where necessary. The role also involves dealing with playground issues in line with our policy. The work can be demanding but can also be very rewarding.
The successful candidate will have a calm and positive manner, be flexible, patient and well organized and use their own initiative as well as work as part of a team.
Experience is desirable, although training will be provided.
