ICT Technician
Band 3 to midpoint (£19,171-21,166 FTE / £4,283-£4729 pro rata)
Epping Primary School is in need of a technician to help run, manage and develop our ever-growing technology infrastructure! We have developed an innovative curriculum that allows our children to harness modern technology in their everyday lessons. The school uses a combination of Windows computers and iPads. We are looking for a forward-looking, enthusiastic, creative person who would enjoy the challenge of solving IT issues with out-of-the-box thinking! The role will involve IT resource management, trouble shooting, server and network maintenance as well as some curriculum-based involvement in procuring the best for our budget!
The successful applicant will:
- be familiar with working with networks and computers
- understand how to manage IT resources
- understand and maintain a knowledge of current hardware and software
- have an ability to work within budgets
The role would be supported by the ICT leader and an external technical advisor; training within the role can be offered.
Hours will be 10 per week (flexible days to suit), term time only.
