We are seeking to appoint a hardworking, friendly and reliable person to work in a new role of 'cleaner with keys' within our school. Previous experience of working as a cleaner and an understanding of COSHH would be desirable, but full training will be given for the right candidate.
Your main duties will include:
· Cleaning: Cleaning toilets, mopping floors, hoovering, cleaning classroom tables, doors and glass, using floor cleaning machinery as required (full training will be given).
· Caretaking: Locking the premises at the end of the day and ensuring the school security procedures are followed.
· Lettings: Unlocking and re-locking of premises to enable occasional lettings during the evenings and weekends (overtime will be paid at the appropriate rate).
The hours of work will be 4.30pm to 7pm Monday to Friday, term-time only. By prior agreement, there may be some opportunity for overtime working within the school holidays. The pro rata salary for this role will be £4,849.14 (gross starting salary: £17,364).
Interviews are scheduled for the week commencing 14th October.
