CATERING ASSISTANT

Required as soon as possible

Part Time - 16 hours per week, term time only plus 5 non pupil days (39 weeks)

Core Hours 11.00 am until 2.00 pm Monday to Friday

Band 1 SCP 1 - 3 (Actual pay £6,380 - £6,638 per annum)

We are a large, thriving junior academy and are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to work in our kitchen as part of our catering team.

Previous experience of catering is desirable although training will be available for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be required to assist in all aspects of general kitchen duties and to demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team and to enthuse our children to enjoy healthy, home cooked food. Applicants will also be required to complete a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
