To work in partnership with class teachers to support pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs and to support their learning in line with the codes of practice and school policies and procedures.

Please note this is a fixed term, term time only position and salary is pro-rata and will include outer fringe allowance.
The position is for 33hours and 45mins per week term time only. £14,472 to £15,330 annual salary (including fringe allowance)

The Endeavour Co-operative Academy is a Special School for children aged 5 to 16 with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs. The school seeks to enable each pupil to reach his or her individual potential within a caring and supportive environment. The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
Information about the School
Endeavour Co-operative Academy is a 5 – 19 school for 172 young people, all with an EHCP. The primary need of pupils is Moderate Learning Difficulties. Our classes have, on average, 12 pupils and 1.5 Teaching Assistants. All teachers are class tutors, which involves responsibility for registration, reports and Annual Reviews for a class.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
It is an exciting time for the school, construction of the new building commenced in January 2024 and is due to be completed by September 2025 - January 2026.
