A vacancy has arisen to join our dedicated team to provide SENDsupport in KS1
Band 2 point 3
15 hours a week - these will be spread over the week Monday to Friday dependant on the child's needs.
The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:
The ability to communicate with other members of staff , especially the SENCo
The ability to build a strong professional relationship with the child and the family
A willingness to take part in class planning and adapt it to the needs of the child where applicable to ensure there is progress
Knowledge / experience of SEND
The enthusiasm to develop your own skills through further training
Good organisational skills
Good behaviour management skills
Excellent literacy skills and some ICT skills to ensure assessments are updated and progress recorded to meet given deadlines
The ability to communicate with parents and outside agencies and to attend professional meetings where required
The applicantwill need to completethe applicationform comprehensively.
