Ivy Chimneys Primary is a very popular school and has an excellent reputation for its friendly community and well-behaved pupils. We benefit from strong collaborative relationships with 15 other local schools, as part of the Epping Forest School Partnership Trust.
At Ivy Chimneys, we care deeply about high quality outcomes for children - our staff and families work together to achieve this aim within our engaging and purposeful environment.
We are seeking a leader who will help shape and deliver the ambitions our school community has for every one of our learners:
that children develop strong, confident learning skills they can use throughout their lives
that children become happy, healthy, actively-engaged citizens as part of the different communities to which they belong
that children are given a wide variety of opportunities to develop their own interests, self-awareness and self-management, through a focus on personal development.
Our new Deputy Head Teacher will:
* demonstrate outstanding classroom practice.
* ideally have had experience of teaching in KS1 and KS2.
* have had recent leadership experience.
* have excellent interpersonal skills.
* have the ability to inspire and motivate adults and children.
* have high expectations of children's achievements and behaviour.
* bring vision, energy and enthusiasm to the post.
Ivy Chimneys Primary is located in Epping (West Essex) and sits very close to Epping Forest, the town centre and surrounding countryside. The Central Line tube to and from London is conveniently located close by.
