Would you enjoy the challenge and exciting opportunity of helping to develop completely new Breakfast and/or After School Clubs? If you enjoy working with children and are confident, organised and caring then you may be exactly the person that we are looking for to join our friendly team here at Downham Church of England Primary School.
The successful candidate(s) will lead and manage the club(s) and the assistants to create a welcoming, safe and fun place where children enjoy spending time before and after school.
Other aspects of this role include:
· Maintaining the safety, welfare and good conduct of the children.
· Ensuring that high standards are maintained with regard to how the club runs and with regard to health and safety.
· Maintaining up to date and accurate records, ensuring confidentiality is adhered to at all times.
· Promoting positive play experiences.
The Breakfast Club and After School Club will run Monday to Friday, term time only. The Breakfast Club co-ordinator will be required to work from 7.30am to 9 am and the After School Club co-ordinator from 3.00 to 6 pm. Please state on your application if you wish to apply for the Breakfast Club, After School Club or both clubs.
As part of our commitment to staff development, training will be available for the right candidate.
