We are looking to appoint a confident, proactive and creative individual to manage our breakfast and after school club provision for both the infant and junior school. The ideal person must have experience of working within a school or early year's environment.
The hours are Monday- Friday (term time only including INSET days)
7.00am - 9.00am
3.00pm - 6.00pm
The successful candidate will manage the breakfast and after school club leader and assistants along with a bank of relief staff to ensure both clubs are effectively covered. You will plan, develop and deliver an appropriate curriculum across the clubs ensuring a safe and fun environment is created for the children. You will act as the designated safeguarding lead for the clubs and be the first point of contact for parents and carers.
The successful candidate must be passionate and enthusiastic, able to create a fun and creative working environment for children. A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in play work or childcare is essential and paediatric first aid and food hygiene qualifications are desirable. The successful candidate must be willing to undertake further essential training.

Information about the School
Barnes Farm Infant School is a school for 4 -7 year old children in Chelmsford, Essex. We have a wonderful team of staff, active and informed governors and supportive families who all help the children to be safe and happy and to make exceptional progress. It is our aim to make sure that all members of our school community are supported and feel included and valued.
The children are divided into classes according to age. Children will progress through the National Curriculum on an individual basis with appropriate individual educational plans being provided for children with special educational needs and for gifted and talented pupils.
