Learning Resource/Student Helpdesk Assistant

New NJC Scale Point 4
37 hours per week, Term-time + 2 additional weeks
8.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday - Thursday, 8.30 am - 4.00 pm Friday
Actual starting salary: £16,044 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Resource/Student Helpdesk Assistant to join our successful and thriving Academy.
The role will be based in our busy and popular Learning Resource Centre, where you will support students in accessing and maximising the facilities and resources available, and will be the first point of contact for students in helping with basic ICT issues such as setting up E-mail accounts, re-setting passwords, etc.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and approachable with a "can-do" attitude and the ability to demonstrate a keen eye for detail. Previous experience of working with children and young people, particularly in an educational setting, would be an advantage.
