The Gateway Academy is part of the larger Gateway Learning Community (GLC): a partnership of local schools supporting and challenging each other to offer every member of our community opportunities to develop as: high achieving, confident, healthy, caring and fulfilled members of society.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dynamic teacher of PE. The candidates applying for this post should be hardworking professionals committed to thorough lesson planning, enthusiastic delivery and careful assessment. We welcome applications from committed and ambitious teachers seeking opportunities in an environment with a very active CPD programme and opportunities for career advancement.
We also welcome NQTs with drive and ambition, who feel they would thrive in a highly supportive and ambitious environment as well as from more experienced colleagues who have that something extra to offer in an already well-established department. The PE Faculty is recognised as one of the strengths of the academy in relation to teaching and results. The faculty team is made up of experienced, highly committed and talented individuals whose aim it is to provide outstanding teaching and learning for our students. There are plenty of opportunities for further development within the department and the wider learning community.
