The North Essex Multi-Academy Trust was established in September 2013 and currently consists of two secondary schools and a primary school all judged as "Good" by Ofsted.

The position will be based at The Ramsey Academy, Halstead.

The Trust would like to recruit a part-time Librarian/Reprographics Technician for 22.5 hours over 3 days during term time only (8.00 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.)

We are looking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic Librarian, who ideally has experience working in a Library or school environment. The successful applicant will work in collaboration with the existing Librarian to develop the provision in a recently fully refurbished Library and Learning Centre. The new facility and resources play an important part of the curriculum, which aims to develop the literacy skills and aspirations of young people. The position also involves operating the reprographics copiers to produce resources for teachers and information for parents. Full training will be provided.

The role also include supervision of students, before, during and after school

Candidates should be educated to GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths. Graduates are encouraged to apply.

The position is term time only (38 weeks) for 22.5 hours per week with an additional holiday allowance of 5.1 weeks per year. The salary is within the range Band 2 Points 3 - 5 on the LGS pay scale. The actual starting salary is £9,080 per annum depending on experience.
