Information about the School

'A caring school, built on Christian values, where every child is a happy, confident and successful learner.'

As a Church of England School our Christian Distinctiveness is very important to us. We aim to serve our community by providing education of the highest possible quality within the context and ethos of Christian belief. While we actively promote Christian Values such as truthfulness, compassion and forgiveness, we respect the beliefs of other faiths and those of no faith. Our aim is to be a safe place of distinctive excellence where all are valued as individuals and as God's children.

At Howbridge Junior we pride ourselves on supporting and challenging all of our children to achieve their very best through providing a happy and friendly atmosphere where children will make friends, develop in confidence and learn new skills in a safe and stimulating environment.

We believe that with high expectations and hard work, our children can achieve almost anything. Alongside academic work, we value developing the whole child and place great emphasis on fun educational experiences, a huge range of sporting opportunities, fantastic annual productions and heart warming charity work. All of our children, without exception, are encouraged and expected to work hard and to take pride in achieving high standards in everything they do.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
