We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join the busy office team at our friendly school. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors and will be in the privileged position of working with and supporting our polite and happy pupils, which includes first aid. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required together with a calm, positive and professional approach. Applicants should be computer literate (Microsoft Office) and previous experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage. The environment is diverse and fast-changing so the ability to prioritise and work under pressure is essential.
The post is subject to successful pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check, and satisfactory references.

Heybridge Primary School currently has 298 pupils ranging from 4 – 11 years across twelve classes, increasing to thirteen in September 2020.
We have a bright modern building, which is well equipped and is set within unusually generous grounds with playing fields and gardens. We are acknowledged as a friendly school within our local community and benefit from easy access to local amenities.
In December 2012 we converted to Academy status and became part of the highly prestigious Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT). The School shares good links with other primary and secondary schools in the Maldon area, so is able to provide wider learning experiences and networking opportunities with our neighbours and also schools within the TKAT family.
