We are looking for a hardworking, conscientious individual to join our busy school office. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a school environment and a working knowledge of the pupil side of RM Management Systems and ParentPay is highly desirable. IT skills are essential, confident use of MS Word, Office 365 & a basic knowledge of MS Excel are essential.
Working at the front office, this position is often the first point of call for visitors, so a cheerful personality is a must! We strive to build excellent relationships with our parents, pupils and the wider school community, so the ability to listen and the desire to help are also essentials to the role.
Regular Tasks involved in this role include:-
- Pupil administration;
- Parent Pay administration;
- Pupil Attendance monitoring and reporting;
- Dealing with parental concerns / queries;
- Dealing with telephone queries;
- Ensuring correct identification procedures of visitors ahdered to, to comply with safeguarding policies;
- Compiling letters & reports;
- Administering basic first aid to pupils;
- Assisting the Business Manager & Headteacher with various administrative duties.
The individual must have the ability to work under their own initiative and be able to work calmly under pressure. He/She must also be organised in their working practices, whilst understanding the need for tasks to be put aside when something needing more immediate attention arises. Confidentiality is of paramount importance to all members of the Holy Trinity team, as is an adherence to the new GDPR processes.
The hours for this post are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 12.30pm + one afternoon per week 1.00 - 4.00pm, a total of 23 hours per week, worked term times, plus 5 non-pupil days throughout the year. The salary range is Band 2, point 3, (new Local Government Pay Structure), gross annual salary £9541.06.
Ideally, we would like this position to be filled as soon as possible.
