An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced teacher of SEN.
Be part of, and help to shape, this brand-new independent school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties (MLD).
Clarity Independent School will open in September 2019 for up to 12 children, aged between 6 and 13 years of age. We will serve the Chelmsford and surrounding areas, delivering a bespoke curriculum to children with a range of learning difficulties and needs. We offer a nurturing environment where children's progress and development are foremost.

You will have:
· Proven management and leadership skills and experience
· A calm, positive, professional personality, reliable and committed
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with children, parents, colleagues and outside agencies
· A passion for teaching children with a range of MLD, including SpLD and ASD
· A flexible approach to teaching with the ability to tailor individual programmes of study
· Outstanding knowledge of Safeguarding procedures

Information about the School
Clarity Independent School is a special needs school for pupils with complex profiles of learning and SEND. We take pupils aged between 6 and 16 years and all pupils are referred to the school by the Statutory Assessment team of Essex Local Authority, based at Essex House in Colchester. We have 12 places.
