The Governors of St. Francis Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a classroom assistant to support the pupil progress of children in classes across KS2
Come and join our dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants.
"Teaching assistants provide strong support in lessons to pupils who need additional help or confidence -building. They question pupils well to develop their knowledge and understanding of their work. Teaching assistants explain and demonstrate to pupils what they need to do and how to do it, which pupils find very helpful." - Ofsted February 2019 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features.
The successful candidate will:
- be an experienced LSA or classroom assistant or have relevant experience working with children
- have a good level of Numeracy and Literacy (GCSE pass or equivalent)
- have experience of working with children in a Primary School level and can evidence this at interview
- be able to support the strong Catholic ethos which is embedded across the school
- show a commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
