Office Manager

37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Actual Salary £16,371 - £17,959 including Outer Fringe

We are seeking to appoint a pro-active, hard-working and reliable professional to ensure provision of an effective administration, reception service to our school

The James Hornsby School is a well-resourced and progressive school. Providing a first class, efficient and effective office and reception service to our school community must be a key priority for the successful candidate.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the reception and student services department and allocation of incoming work within the office ensuring all staff carry out their duties efficiently and to a high standard.

Experience of working with SIMs and knowledge of First Aid is desirable. In addition, you will need to demonstrate previous line management experience, have patience, resilience, exceptional organisational skills and enjoy working with young people. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a positive approach to working effectively to promote the school and our students. This is a customer facing role; therefore fluency in English is required.

Hours of work: 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.00pm Friday.
