Cleaner/Keyholder - 15 hours per week
Monday to Friday (3.15pm- 6.15pm)
Working weeks are 38 weeks term time, 5 x non pupil days, plus 4 weeks during holiday period, totalling 43 working weeks per year. This equates to 49.8 paid weeks per year. There is some flexibility around hours during holiday periods if required as well as potential for overtime
Pay range £17,094 - £18,021 Actual Salary - £6,620 - £6980
Giffards Primary School requires a new cleaner with key holder responsibilities. Previous experience is preferred, but not essential. A willingness to be flexible and act as a key holder is essential. As off call duties may be necessary, you would need to live within 10 minutes travel time of the school, within walking distance would be ideal. This post would suit a retired person or someone who only wants to work part time.
Duties will also include security, general cleaning, dealing with spillages, blockages, locking and unlocking the site and any ad-hoc duties as required.
Visits are warmly welcomed and encouraged.

Information about the School
Giffards has been a primary school since 2005, with the amalgamation of the previous Infant and Junior schools. We currently have 15 classes with 440 pupils. We are a welcoming, friendly and inclusive primary academy, where we nurture and celebrate the achievements of all of our children.We have a large, experienced team of teachers, HLTA and LSAs. This has created a large school. We have invested heavily in ICT; all our classrooms have interactive whiteboards as does our music room. We have an ICT suite with 30 computers plus interactive whiteboard and a dedicated full time IT Technician. We also have many portable tablets for use across the school. All teaching staff have their own laptops which are used for planning and centralisation of information and resources.
