Woodlands Schools are looking for a reliable, experienced Caretaker/ Handyman to work across both their independent preparatory schools in Brentwood.
In this vital role, as part of our Maintenance and Caretaking team, you will contribute to the smooth running of the Schools on a day to day basis by carrying out a wide range of caretaking duties; grounds & building maintenance; site security and supervision; and driving of company vehicles.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a School Caretaker, with relevant qualifications, training or experience covering cleaning, DIY, First Aid, Health and Safety, and Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures.
Requirements
Due to the driving element of the role, we can only accept applications from candidates of 25 years or older, with a full clean driving license
Applicants must live within a 10 mile radius of Brentwood. Applicants outside of this radius will not be considered.
Hours
The role involves shift work across the 2 schools as follows:
Hutton Manor: 9.15am to 6.15pm (Mon & Fri)
Great Warley: 06.00am to 09.00am (Tue, Wed & Thu)
