Commencing September 2019. This National Teaching School is looking for an enthusiastic and well-qualified individual to join our Modern Foreign Languages department and continue to promote the academic success of French and Spanish to Key Stage 5 throughout the school. Both languages would be an additional advantage but not essential.
The Languages department is strong and successful and committed to continually improve teaching methods to provide greatest benefit to the students. Teacher training may be available for the suitable candidate if necessary; but more importantly is an enthusiasm for French and/or Spanish; and to be a strong team player.
The ethos is one of high expectations with a wide variety of exciting enrichment activities in place. The personal development of all staff is a priority. There is a comprehensive induction programme and excellent opportunities for high quality CPD.
The successful candidate should:
· Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
· Be innovative and able to turn ideas and opportunities into successful practice
· Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with all stakeholders and enthuse students
· Be enthusiastic, a team player, self-motivated and committed to further professional development
