Teacher of History

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational History Teacher to join our talented, motivated and supportive Humanities department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and committed individual to join the team in April or September 2019.
The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and about instilling a love of History amongst the James Hornsby students; their focus will be to achieve the best outcomes for all students as we guide them through the rigours of the new curriculum.
We are looking to appoint a colleague who shares our commitment to high standards of professionalism and academic achievement for every one of our students and who will go the extra mile to help them achieve excellence. The Humanities department is forward thinking and is developing pedagogy and curriculum delivery in line with up to date research, with plenty of opportunities for professional development. If you are an outstanding practitioner with a commitment to high standards and a passion for History, we would be delighted to hear from you and look forward to receiving an application.
