Classroom Teacher (KS2 April 2019)
Queen Boudica Primary School is a thriving and successful two-form entry primary school situated on the north side of Colchester. We offer modern, well-resourced learning environments and our pupils are well mannered, dynamic and motivated to learn.
Our most recent Ofsted inspection (September 2017) has confirmed our good provision and recognises that our school 'is a safe and happy learning environment.' Pupils 'enjoy coming to school and their outcomes demonstrate many strengths in both Key Stages 1 and 2.'
Our staff are hard working and committed, they plan together and support each other in year group teams. We also have a superb team of support staff who run a range of interventions as well as providing general classroom support. Ofsted found that 'staff have great confidence in the senior leaders and morale is high.'
Working closely with other local schools we aim to provide an excellent education for our pupils whilst maintaining a distinctive, calm and caring atmosphere and respected standing in our community. Opportunities exist for career progression for motivated candidates and we actively encourage this.
We are able to be flexible according to a candidate's strengths and experience: if you are passionate about what you do and are committed to excellence then we would like to hear from you.
