An excellent opportunity has arisen at Pemberley Academy, based in Harlow, Essex, for a Graduate LSA to join our enthusiastic and experienced teaching team.
We require a confident and friendly Graduate LSA for an immediate start, with the ability to inspire and encourage pupils. Experience with working with children is important to us, alongside a patient and caring approach to supporting children with particular needs, requiring one to one assistance within the class. We will also be looking at the candidate's ability to work with small groups of children. We are looking for a person to work across both KS1 and KS2 classes.

This is a fixed term position from October 2018 to July 2019. There may be an opportunity to extend this position, however this will be discussed closer to the end of the contract. The salary is on a pro-rata basis, dependant on experience. This post will be term time only and you will be required to work 30 hours per week (8.30am to 3.30pm, which includes a 15 min break and 45 min Lunch break). This post will be calculated pro-rata using the NJC Essex Pay Scales; Scp10 to Scp13 (FTE £16,863 to £17,391).

Pemberley Academy is a vibrant one form entry primary school based in Harlow, Essex. We opened our doors to our pupils in September 2015 after our premises had an extensive refurbishment..
The site is situated within walking distance to both the bus station and Harlow town rail line and is in close proximity to the A414 and A10 and within a short drive from the M11.
