We are looking to appoint a Speech and Language Therapist to work with children aged 3-11 across our local primaries within NET Academies Trust.

As a speech and language therapist, you will work with children who have various levels of speech, language and communication needs, or difficulties in swallowing, drinking or eating.

Your tasks will vary depending on the pupil and the nature of the need. However, you will be required to identify and assess the speech and communication difficulty or disorder and devise and deliver a suitable treatment programme. You will also be required to monitor and evaluate pupils' progress and write confidential case notes and reports, as well as to provide information for parents/carers and other professionals. You will be required to take direction from and work closely with the SENDCos, Senior Leaders and Teaching staff within the teams to improve the effectiveness of service delivery.

The successful candidate will be reliable, well organised, have the ability to prioritise and above all else, be passionate about pupils' welfare and progress. They will have excellent communication skills, thrive on teamwork and have high expectations.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate patience and creativity, be able to solve problems and have a high degree of empathy.

They must also be willing and able to travel between our schools in Harlow and be registered with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) as well as a member of RCSLT (Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists).

NETAcademies Trust are committed to the continuing professional development of all staff.
