We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate as Deputy Headteacher at Lawford CofE (VA) Primary School. A new Headteacher has just been appointed and she is now looking to create her own dynamic team to lead the school forward to help shape the future of our expanding school.
As the Deputy Headteacher you will:
Work with the Head, Governing Body and school staff, to be centrally involved in the leadership of the school;
Be responsible for raising standards, whilst managing classroom responsibilities;
Be an outstanding classroom practitioner, willing to share best practice and influence others with enthusiasm and energy;
Have excellent communication skills and use them to innovate and manage change.
Have a commitment to contribute and further develop the Christian distinctiveness of our school

Information about the School
Lawford Primary school is in the village of Lawford, situated ten minutes by car to the North East of Colchester. It is expanding year on year to support the growing needs of the local community and the ongoing building development.
