We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, well organised, reliable, and highly skilled Administrator and Attendance officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for school administration and reception whilstsupporting the vision, ethos and policies of the school and promote high levels of achievement.
Reporting directly to the school Business Manager you will ensure an efficient, accurate and timely administrative service is provided to school.
Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent in English and maths it is essential that the ideal candidate has:
- A warm and welcoming manner, and ability to work in a team
- Professional skills to fulfil general administrative duties and specific attendance related duties, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient knowledge of IT, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Willingness to take part in professional development
- Ability to relate well to children, parents and external agencies
- Ability to comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, and safety, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
The post is for 20 hours and the working pattern is as follows:
Monday: 8:15-16:30
Tuesday: 8:15-16:30
Friday: 11:45-16:30

Great Waltham Church of England VC Primary School is situated in the pretty village of Great Waltham catering for pupils from 4 - 11. The school was built in 1865 and has wonderful character and beautiful grounds.
