We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced person to become our Data Support Officer. A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, and an understanding of data functions within the School Information Management System (SIMS) would be an advantage. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to produce accurate data sets and respond swiftly to staff requests by providing quality information presented appropriately.

The post holder will report directly to the Student Services Manager, but will have regular contact with the Raising Standards Leaders for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. He/She will offer support in ensuring that the data tasks that are integral both to reporting to parents and to our evaluation and monitoring processes, are carried out with accuracy, efficiency and to set timescales. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who relishes a challenge and wishes to support the school's desire to have reliable data processes in place to deal with high demand and continually developing requirements. Candidates with advanced skills or additional experience may be eligible for an enhanced salary.
