TEACHER OF CHEMISTRY
Required for September 2018 an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of Chemistry in a collaborative and supportive Science department. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and experience of A Level or International Baccalaureate teaching is desirable, but not essential. The department ethos is based on collaboratively developing exciting real life scientific experiences for students. We are enthusiastic about developing STEM and action research teaching and learning projects with potential for CPD development in these areas.
The Science Department achieved 87% A* - C GCSE, 22% A*-C A Level, 50% IBH 5+, and IBS 25% Chemistry in 2017.
The Anglo European School, is a comprehensive school with a curriculum informed by the values of the International Baccalaureate, including a strong international dimension, and with pupils who demonstrate outstanding personal development. All members of staff working at the school support the aims and ethos of the school and participate in the well-established visits programme.
The Anglo European School is located in the village of Ingatestone in Essex with easy access to the A12 and M25. Ingatestone is also only a 30 minute train journey from Liverpool Street station.
