Band 2 £17,604 to £18,278 depending on experience
St Helen's Catholic Infant School, Brentwood are looking to appoint a full-time caretaker (37 hours per week/split shift) 7.00am to 11.00 and 2.30 to 6.00pm. Possible opportunity for overtime for the right candidate.
We are a friendly , hardworking school which offers a calm and friendly environment with well behaved and enthusiastic children who enjoy their learning. Our school has excellent facilities including indoor/outdoor classrooms.
You will need to be practical, dedicated, flexible, show initiative and have good organisational skills.
The role will involve varied working days with responsibilities including maintenance of school and grounds, handyman and portering duties, the checking of fire alarms and domestic services. The applicant will need to be able to carry out manual duties. There will also be some regular cleaning duties including responsibility for other cleaning staff.
