Music Instructor/Teacher (part-time) Band 4/MPR
Monday - Friday afternoons (PPA Cover) 1.00pm - 3.15pm (+ additional paid hours for extracurricular activities) With an option for additional or full-time hours to provide music instruction across other schools within the CHANGE Schools Partnership.
Required for April 2018 ideally or September 2018
Do you have a passion for music and the skills to enable children to develop a love of music through singing, listening, composing and performing?
Can you lead whole class music lessons and help children to make good progress from their starting points? Could you provide additional extra-curricular music opportunities for children before and/or after school?
The successful applicant will be experienced at leading groups of children; have effective class and behaviour management skills; and be qualified to at least HLTA standard with an expertise in leading music sessions.
The role:
- Sharing in the planning and delivery of the music curriculum across the school as part of PPA provision
- Providing extra-curricular music activities such as leading the choir
- Managing and developing the music resources in school
