The Boswells School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of Mathematics. We are looking for the successful candidate to deliver high quality Mathematics lessons to develop an already strong provision within our Mathematics faculty.
You will be joining a school with enthusiastic and dedicated leaders at senior and middle leadership levels and a commitment to the professional development of staff. The Boswells School is keen to embrace an approach that is centered on teaching and learning and the academic attainment for our students. Mathematics is a vitally important element of our curriculum for all our students and this role has arisen following an increase in the curriculum hours we have allocated to Mathematics across the school.
The Boswells School is an 11-18, very successful, popular and oversubscribed school in the Springfield area of Chelmsford, Essex. We have achieved record GCSE results for the school in the last 2 years with 71% of our students achieving grade 4 and above including English and Mathematics this year. Our sixth form is also thriving and results in this area are also well above both Essex and National averages.
