LSA for a specific child

Job Description

20hrs per week over 5 days for the Summer Term

(Possibility of hours to be continued depending on a Yr2 child joining the school in September)

10:00am to 2:10pm (10mins tea break to be taken within this time)

Band 2, Point 11-14 depending on experience

Start date: As soon after the Easter Holiday as possible.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring person to join our highly dedicated team of support staff as a Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a specific child who has ADHD.

You will need to be:

educated to at least GCSE Level C or equivalent in Maths and English
a flexible, organised team player

The post will involve the following:

working on your own initiative and within a team
playing your part in ensuring that every child makes maximum progress

Previous experience of working in a classroom environment is essential. An understanding of ADHD or experience of working with children with AADHD would be preferred, but all applications are welcome.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
