West Hatch is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised and motivated teacher to join our successful team. The ability to teach a range of Design and Technology subject areas, especially Product Design at KS3 and 4 and Food and Textiles at KS3 would be welcomed. Currently the department offers AQA GCSE Design & Technology, GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition, NCFE Vcert Level 2 Engineering and Food & Cookery, and AQA A Level Product Design. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to be involved in the further development and successful delivery of these courses.
You will be working with, and supported by a team of experienced, hard-working staff who are committed and passionate about their subjects. The department has a number of modern and well-resourced teaching environments, with future planned expansion of the department and its resources further enhancing its success. Both Product Design and Food & Textiles are also supported by knowledgeable technicians.
This position is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers, we would also welcome applications from those wishing to work part time - in your application please state your area of subject specialism.
