Opportunity for a Head of KS4 in English
Start date: September 2018 (this date is negotiable).
Closure date: 26th February 2018 Interviews will be arranged for the 27th February 2018
Salary: MPS plus associated TLR
Are you passionate for teaching English? We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, determined and creative Head of KS4. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our Curriculum Team Leader (CTL) for English within a successful and collaborative team.
Our English department are dedicated in ensuring all lessons are engaging so that our students are able to thrive. We are committed to all students making progress through use of the thinking four, sharing of ideas, good practice and innovative resources.
The successful candidate will have:
A passion for teaching English;
Experience of coordinating KS4 English;
An outstanding practitioner of English with a proven track record of examination outcomes;
The ability to create and facilitate highly challenging and engaging lessons;
The highest aspirations and expectations for all students, yourself and our school.
