Job Description

Required September 2018.

An enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of Mathematics is required to join a highly successful Mathematics Department. The person appointed will be expected to teach Mathematics across all Key Stages including Sixth Form courses.

This post involves leading and managing teaching, learning and assessment in order to maintain the highest levels of progress and achievement. The specific leadership role will be discussed at interview. depending on the strengths and interests of the individual candidate.

In 2017, the Mathematics department 78% 9-4 at GCSE with 99% 9-1. It is also a very popular subject in our outstanding sixth form with 47% of our students taking a mathematics qualification. (2017 A2 Results: ALPS 2, 55% A*-B, Maths IBS 43% 5+ and Maths Studies 76% 5++).

All members of staff working at the school support the aims and ethos of the school and participate in the extensive visits programme.
